Midspan power injectorssupply power and pass on data (text, audio and video) when connected directly with Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) devices or with non PoE devices through a separate adapter. Altronix NetWay1D indoor single port midspan injector uses Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) technology for enabling network cables to carry both electrical power & data simultaneously. The PoE compliant devices can be at a maximum distance of 100 m from the midspan NetWay1D injector. The NetWay1D power injector gets its power supply through an IEC 320 connector (located at the backside of the device), having a voltage rating of 115VAC (at 1.2A) and 230VAC (at 0.75A). This device delivers PoE (15W), PoE+ (30W) and Hi-PoE (60W) power outputs using all 4 pairs of ethernet cable (CAT5e) at a data transmission speed of 10 / 100 / 1000 Mbps. It is also equipped with an auxiliary power connector having 56VDC / 60W output rating for safely transmitting data and power over a coax cable of length up to 500 m. This auxiliary Class 2 rated power limited output is used by Altronix eBridge Plus receivers to provide a cost effective way for replacing legacy analog devices with new IP devices / cameras over existing coax cables. NetWay1D power injector reduces extra wiring as it transmits data & power over ethernet / data cable that is already in place instead of installing additional power sockets for each of the devices. It has a lightweight & compact body for installation in indoor locations with limited space. This injector comes with numerous safety features like surge protection, auto-detection & protection facility of legacy non-PoE cameras / devices and LED indicators for port status, PoE status & IP link status.Raptor Supplies also offersNetway1XPmidspan power injector having shutdown triggers for manually shutting down power transmission to the PoE devices.
