Midspan power injectorsare the power sourcing equipment that use Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) technology for supplying power and passing on data (text, audio and video) to PoE devices directly and to non PoE devices through a separate adapter. Altronix NetWay1E single port injector is an enhanced midspan power injector that sources power up to 85W for LTPoE++ 70W, 52.7W & 38.7W compliant devices. It is also fully compatible with PoE (15W) and PoE+ (30W) powered devices. This injector supports devices requiring up to 70W of power at a maximum distance of 100 metres. NetWay1E gets its power supply through an IEC 320 connector (located at the backside of the device), having a voltage rating of 115VAC at 1.5A current. Its RJ45 port transmits data over 4 pair CAT5e or higher structured cable at 10 / 100 / 1000 BaseT speed. This device passes data over an ethernet / data cable that is already in place, instead of installing additional power sockets for each of the devices, thereby reducing extra wiring. It is installed on a wall or shelf for use in indoor spaces. This injector comes with numerous safety features like short circuit & overload protection, PoE manual shutdown, auto-detection & protection facility of legacy non-PoE cameras / devices and LED indicators for port, PoE & IP link status.Raptor Supplies also deliversAltronix Netway1EVmidspan power injector having similar specifications as Altronix NetWay1E single port injector and input voltage rating of 230VAC at 0.8A current.
