The Kooltronic Kooltray II, with its 1.75" height, is designed to fit under card racks or near heat‑producing sources. Standard units are available in 1, 2, or 3 row models. Optional features include thermal fan speed control, fan failure indication and alarm output, DC power supply and filtered fan tray. In the X5 option, individual fan operation is constantly monitored by an integral solid state alarm system, which sends an alarm signal for power loss or low fan speed to the corresponding LED for that fan. For the X6 option, a temperature sensing control modulates the speed of the fans as temperature varies. The alarm signals are for power loss or high temperature and includes the X5 option. Also available is the X7 option, which modulates the speed of the fan as temperature varies. Filtered Kooltrays are available for environments that require filtration of the ambient or cabinet air.
